Statement on Transfer of ABA Board

Dear Constituents of Nevada Applied Behavior Analysis,
On behalf of the Board, we are writing to announce the transfer of the Nevada State Board of Applied Behavior Analysis under SB217 from Aging and Disability Services Division to its own independent board, effective October 1st, 2021. The Board will continue to cover the responsibilities and regulation of Applied Behavior Analysis in the state of Nevada, including licensure of Behavior Analysts, Assistance Behavior Analysts, and Registered Behavior Technicians.
Applications will continue to be processed through the Aging and Disability Services Division until October 1st, 2021. Additional communications will be sent to provide updates as needed throughout the transition.
