All LBA and LaBA licenses issued in the state of Nevada expire 12.31.2022 and must be renewed prior to this date. Licensees must verify completion of required continuing education units for each 2-year licensing cycle. CEU’s must be provided by an ACE provider to be counted toward the required totals.
The Nevada Applied Behavior Analysis Board underwent operational and regulatory changes late last year. Due to these changes, adjustments have been made for this renewal period.
Renewal applications will be accepted beginning October 1, 2022.
The ABA Board approved the following adjustments to CEU requirements for 2022 renewals
All Licensees are required to obtain the following Nevada-specific training:
2 units of evidence-based Suicide Awareness/Prevention
2 units of Cultural Competency/Diversity training
These are required by state law for persons holding a license. If CEUs are provided by an ACE provider they will count toward the total required CEUs. If they are not provided by an ACE provider, they will be in addition to the required CEU’s.
